Remember, however that the online component(s) primarily focus on the theoretical aspects of the Care Certificate. To successfully complete this certification, learners are required to demonstrate their practical skills in a workplace setting and receive validation from a qualified individual. This involves completing an online course and subsequently presenting your certificate and mapping document to your manager, who will coordinate the competency validation process within your workplace.

Any e-learning provider that claims to certify a module by e-learning alone is providing false information.

Understand the principles of safeguarding adults, recognise possible abuse and know how to deal with / report abuse.

Be able to provide Basic Life support procedures including CPR. This Standard is one where simulation training will be required as there is no way to be able to practice & demonstrate safely on an adult.

This is the one Standard that cannot be achieved with an online / 'on the job' training.
